Unfortunately, if we use the website, it would be a season long event. Because we are not allowed to use the same rides in two consecutive weeks...

Ok... I spent about 30 minutes researching some different fantasy supercross and motocross options. There are about 5 different options, and they all seem to use the same points and team idea. Motoxdream has been online since 1998. Looked the most professional and up to date. It is not free. To register to play, it will cost $10 (more if you want to compete for national prizes). The team concept is pretty cool, except you cannot keep the same riders each week. You will have to think about each track and each rider Every week, your previous weeks riders are unavailable for use, and become available after a week off. Since we already missed the first race, we are out of the national points and prizes contest. We can still play for a MT pot and the winner takes all OR pay a podium, 1st, 2nd, 3rd. We can decide as a group... Setting up a paypal account to hold the money is easy and free, or we can take Jason (mx808) up on his offer to hold the money. I vote for the podium option - $15 entry fee. That's a total of $25 to play. 1st gets 55%, 2nd gets 30%, and 3rd gets 15%. To play: 1 - www.Motoxdream.com2 - Register a team and become a team manager (pay $10) 3 - Click Manage Teams 4 - Click 2011 Motosport.com Fantasy SX Series 5 - Join/Create a Friend Division, in the alpha list, click on Montana MX Division 4 - Pick your team for the week! Hope this is fun - I'm registered already. Great Falls BoYz is my team.

Anyone heard of Motoxdream.com. Fantasy racing site that we can build and have our own division. I'm in too. I could learn more about the fatally site possibilities and set something up.

Great Falls race was June 12th and 13th, 2011. Farmers Almanac.com says the temperature was 64 degrees on the 12th and 73 degrees on the 13th. I have been around long enough to have raced both an entire season of split days and an entire season of one days.
Great Falls received mixed reviews on our one split day race. Half of the members want the laid back atmosphere of split days with a weekend camping feel, the other half want to race and get home. We couldn't possible please everyone...
The track is the one that has to make the decision, based on volunteers, weather, water, and money.Aasking the riders to decide will only cause you a 50/50 tie, in my opinion. The new board in Great Falls has elected to have a Saturday practice and the race on Sunday. Even in our meeting, it was not a unanimous decision. I'll support Dairyland either way.

Thoughts from a "lucky" to be graduated from the 50 class and a long ways from being pro (bite ur tongue Gman!!)...
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that HCMA sets the minimum trophy standard and minimum Pro/Expert payback level. A track/club can exceed these standards if they decide that more trophies and attacting extra Pro/Expert riders is within their budget. For example, if a track/club wanted to give participant trophies to 50 classes, they would pay the charges out of their profit from the race, and holding a practice on Saturday to expand the Pro/Expert payback purse has been common place. But, for startup tracks that have improvements and/or equipment needs, they may not be able to provide the extra trophies or additional money.
My opinion, if a track wants to build a good reputation, fight for track of the year, and support the HCMA riders, have participant trophies for mini riders and additional money added to the payback. But, don't think that extra trophies and money will over come poor track preparation...

That's too funny!! But no way. I am not going to put it all out there for the whole season. Way too many variables in supercross. Besides, I've been ur itch on the track too many times, we don't need everyone to know... Wait, crap, now they do!! ;D One race, sign on the back fender, you got a deal... Who ya pickin?

I'm up for a little wager with ya Gman - nothing serious tho, it's going to be a close call this year.
I'll take Dungey over Stewart. My guess is Villopoto v Dungey down to the last two races. Canard will be in there too, but just enough to slow up reed, short, grant and windham. So, based on your list, we throw Stewart out and I'll take Dungey you get Villi.
Loser has to start backward in Conrad (not our home tracks) 1st Moto only - maybe I can get you on the start for once!!
