Fellow Racers!!
The weather is messing with us!! From what we can tell, a storm is headed toward Great Falls and Helena. You wouldn't know if right now!! It's 51 degrees and perfect riding weather her now. However, it's very important to us that we don't ask our out of town travelers to drive all the way to GF and not get to Race.
We are moving forward with the Race tomorrow. The Track is prepped and ready to ride!! We have cleared all the back sections from the winter and refaced all the Jumps. We are ready. Mother nature is our question.
At this point, we will make a final decision at 5pm today as to if the race is on or off. Please get the word to all your friends. 5pm tonight we will either post Race is on or Race is changed.
Hang in there with us. We want to Race tomorrow!!

Keep your plans to race in Great Falls!! The weather report is not the greatest, but most times, the storms go around Great Falls. We are planning the race as planned in Great Falls.
More updates to come throughout the day tomorrow.

Hey smacktalk -
The Spring tune up is a fun race, we will allow signups until the first gate drop. We want everyone to get a chance to ride. After the first gate drop, the signup people become the points people, so it will be difficult to get someone signed up after 10am. We will open signs at 7am and keep them going until approximately 10am.
Practice schedule: the practice schedule will be pretty organized for safety reasons, typically we run practice in the same order as the HCMA practice schedule. For example; ATV, pro, intermediate, beginner, women, 80, 60, 50. If you hit Great Falls at 9am, you'll be pushing it to get a big bike class practice... Each practice is scheduled by lap, but notice we have 8 classes to get completed in 2 hours.
The track has not been modified from our HCMA race in June2010. This is intentional. We are raising funds with the Spring Tune Up to make the 2011 track modifications for the 2011 State Race in June. If you raced Great Falls in 2010, you can race the tune up with confidence. All the jump faces have been refaced for safety and the corners dressed up from the winter.
Hope this helps with your travel schedule, we look forward to seeing you at the race!!

Atomic melt down - I love it!! Stewart is fast, I'll never take that away from him. I just like Dungey. I am with Kevin, he is a little too controlled this season to win, but I am still rooting for him. I am on the Villopoto bandwagon too, he is trying hard, just can't seem to put a full season together.

Wilson in his home country, just had a feeling... Super pumped for Dungey, I picked home to win the season!! Consistency might win the championship, not speed this year.

No open class for the spring tune up. Track prep and daylight are a limiter to the race day.

Quad moto added!! We'll see you there. One moto or an A and B start?
True Beginner's & Sportsman class also added. We'll put you with a moto. Not sure which one yet. You will get a spot!
The more riders the better, we want to get everyone a good spot to warmup for the year.
Thank you for the requests, we want every rider to have a great day. Weather is looking pretty good so far, keep your fingers crossed...

Hey Howard - we considered it. Last year we had one full size and one 50cc quad. If we get 4 quads at the track, we'll add the moto. We are not anti-quad in Great Falls. Bring your friends and we will get you in!!

Nice Gman!! I'm glad you got a win/tie. The fantasy pick game has been a great time for us in Great Falls.
As far as the burm, I think CJ would take that challenge, teenager that knows everything at my house these days... LOL!!
