**Important Notice - Round 2 on April 24th - Track Location Change - Important Notice**
Unforeseen circumstances have forced a Track Location change for Round 2 of the 2016 HCMA Race Series.
Niarada MX Park put together a terrific Round 1 and planned to host Round 2 on April 24th. A major track preparation piece of equipment broke during round 1 and can not be repaired in time for round 2. Plus the lack of moisture from our extremely dry winter has put a major strain on the watering system. We want to thank Niarada for working so hard to make Round 1 very successful.
Round 2, April 24th, will now be hosted by Cokedale Raceway in Livingston MT. Todd, Shawn, and the track crew will be able to pull off a short turn around to host the race. And, since Livingston has not been on the HCMA Series for a few years, there will be an organized practice on Saturday from 9am - 2pm for a fee of $20 per rider.
Quick recap: Practice Livingston, Cokedale Raceway, on April 23rd. Race HCMA Round 2 at Cokedale Raceway in Livingston on April 24th.
The next edition of Headlines HCMA newsletter will include more detail about the Livingston Facility. It will be published on Tuesday April 19th.
Spread the word to all MX riders in our region.
Looking forward to seeing Everyone for Round 2!!

Transponders are the race lap counting and scoring system the HCMA uses to make sure riders are given the correct order for points at the end of a Moto. A transponder is a small device that attaches to your front fork behind the front number plate of your dirt bike. This device sends a signal to a computer every time the bike crosses the finish line. The computer registers the race order and lap times of the rider. This is how we score the Moto and assign the race points. You have the option to purchase a transponder from the HCMA with a one year subscription to MyLaps, the manufacturer of the Transponders. After one year, you can add another 1 year, 2 year, or 5 year subscription to the existing transponder you own, based on your future racing plans. The MyLaps transponders are not specific to the HCMA. Many other series and events use transponders, and the X2 will work with other race organizations in our region. If you do not want to purchase a transponder, the HCMA will rent one to a racer, for the race day for $10. The Transponders that are now being sold from MyLaps are new and improved, compared to the Original "Orange" transponders that are for rent from the HCMA and have been used in the past by our race series. Please visit MyLaps.com, go to the store, and look at the X2 MX model. This X2 MX Model does require a new bracket to mount to your fork, in you have used an original "orange" MX transponder in the past. You will need to purchase a bracket from the HCMA for whichever transponder you decide to use for the day, or the season. They are reusable and mount with two Zip ties. Transponders are not rider specific, you and other riders in your family, or friends in your group, may be able to share a transponder on race day. You will want to check the HCMA Race Day Moto Order on hcmamt.org/schedules to verify that racers sharing transponders do not run at the same time or back to back. That would be the only hold up for using one transponder per day. Questions? Let us know.Attachments:
