OK so I was going to keep this bike for another year or two but had the chance to ride the new 2012 KX450f and gotta have it so this bikes got to go. That's the only reason I'm selling. This past winter the bike got a brand new engine. I put in a new hot rods crank w/new bearings and seals, replaced all bearings and seals inside the crankcase, wiseco piston, wiseco cam chain, a complete kibblewhite intake and exhaust valve assembly and a hinson clutch with spring kit. The bike got a new OEM cam a few months before these. There was nothing wrong with the other cam I was just dumb and listened to somebody who told me I should replace it. This bike has about a season's worth of riding on it and under 10 hours of riding on the new engine.
Also put on the bike at the same time I did the engine is ASV-F3 Brake and Clutch (w/hot start ) levers in color red, scott grips,
G2 THROTTLE TUBE CAM SYSTEM
PC RACING FLO STAINLESS STEEL OIL FILTER
PRO CIRCUIT AXLE BLOCKS - RED
RENTHAL BRAKE PADS - REAR
RENTHAL BRAKE PADS - FRONT
WORKS CONNECTION GLIDE PLATE
Also the bike has after market red fork guards, works connection hole shot device and Renthal twinwall handle bars. The fork, shock and steering dampener all have new oil and there's new seals in the fork and shock.
Overall the bike runs great and starts with no problem. I am very meticulous about my bike maintenance and changed the oil and oil filter (until I got the cleanable steel filter) every 2-3 rides (depending on how hard I rode and how long I road sometimes I would replace the oil after every ride.) The air filter was changed after ever 1-2 rides (depending on the amount of dust) and washed the bike anytime it got dirty.
Along with the bike you get the Service manual and Tech manual (this shows you how to do everything on the bike including servicing the suspension, re-building the whole engine, working on the carburetor etc. etc.) You also get 3 spare tires, 2 rear Kenda Millville Sticky's and a front Kenda Millville, spare renthal front and rear break pads and a black Moose bike stand.
This has been a good bike for me and will continue to be a good bike for someone else.
Price is $3600 and I can e-mail some pics. if you would like to see the bike, my pics. are to large to load onto here.
Thanks for looking
