The first race of the Last Chance Gran Prix Series will be this coming Sunday March 29th. Registration will start Sunday morning at 7am. The parade lap for the morning session races will begin at 8:15am. New to the series is we will only have two parade laps unlike the old GP races that had one before each race. The second parade lap will begin at 12:45pm. The weather looks to be good for the race. We are hoping to get a little rain the next couple of days to help keep the dust to a min. The LCGP series fee is $25.00 if you are racing the series for points. With this paid fee your race fees will be cut by $5.00 per class you enter. For those who choose not to pay the series fee your race fees will be $25.00 per class or $35.00 for the classes that have pay back. Please check the flyer on the home page for the schedule and race dates along with classes. Also check out face book for more info. (LastChanceRaceway)

SCHEDULE CHANGE- Do to a conflict in our schedule with another series we are moving our June 14th date up one day to Saturday June 13th. With this change we hope to make it possible for those riding both series to be able to compete and still have a chance at a series Championship. Our policy at LCGP is to not compete with other series. Sometimes because of the very small window of race dates these conflicts occur. We hope this change makes it easier to ride in both series with the least amount of conflict.

The Last Chance Riders Association would like to announce the creation of our new and exciting 2015 Grand Prix Series! We will have a four race series where you can join the series and compete for a championship or you can race anyone of the races as a non member. Non Members will not qualify for year end points. If you are not familiar with the GP format let me try and sum it up in a few words. We create a course that is around 5 miles in length. The course is mostly single track but we do use some parts of our MX track. All jumps are natural or single jumps. If we have any manmade sections (log crossing) we will have a alternate route around it. The Moto's are 45 minutes long. The GP's are somewhere between MX and XC. They are meant for maximum fun and minimum stress. If you like to compete but not at the level of full on Motocross or 2 hr. XC races this is the format for you. We also strive to keep the costs down so you can come ride a couple of classes and not break the bank. Bring the family, NO GATE FEE!!! Want to learn more? Check out the flyer on the home page or find us on Facebook LastChanceRaceway. Any questions feel free to contact me at ru.riding@live.com. Click here for Series FlyerSteve Skains LCRA President

Just a little weather update. We have not received any moisture today. The sun is shinning and we have a breeze. The track looks good for practice tomarrow. Keep an eye on this site for any changes. We have a lot of moisture in the ground right now and if we get a lot of moisture over night we will be forced to make a decision on whether to do practice or not. Of course we want to have a great track for the race so if we feel that running a practice will compromise the track for the race we won't take that chance. But as we set right now we are anticipating to have practice as scheduled 10 to 2.
