Steve called me and he is unable to have the Anaconda race this year. Dillon will be moving into their weekend on May 1st and there will be no racing on the weekend of July 16th, unless Kalispell wants to move and we should have that firmed up shortly. Steve is sorry but his business is booming and that is great news for him. We didi talk about next year and that seems to be all good news for now. This is good news for Dillon too. Julie

A little more news! Kalispell will move up to the July 17th date. Bozeman is considering moving their 2nd race to July 31st.

Just a quick suggestion: it would be great to have the season over in July and have the whole month of August off, but just to throw this out there the weekend of the original Kalispell race is the same week the Ponca City National is and for anyone interested there are two Qualifiers on our weekends off in Wyoming, all you have to do is finish in the top 12 at those two races and your invited to the National. Maybe Bozeman could keep their Original date in August to allow those interested an opportunity to go down and race with the best in the nation, I know we have some good riders out there that could represent Montana well.

One more update and probably the last. Bozeman is taking July 31 for their second race. Thanks Bozeman, the track looks great, can't wait to ride it.

Steve called me and he is unable to have the Anaconda race this year. For a long, long time Anaconda (much like Hungry Horse) has been a virtual constant in Montana motocross. Losing these tenured events is ominously unsettling...
