I hate to sell my bike but I want to get a 150sx or 200sx and the wife won't let me keep both bikes. This bike is in excellent condition and meticulously maintained. I change the oil and clean the air filter every other ride. I've rebuilt most of the bike the last 2 years, the Engine in summer of 2011 and everything else summer of 2012.
Forks were rebuilt and serviced by Kevin at RG3 Montana in summer of 2012. I disassembled the engine and sent the bottom end to Andrew Cooksey at Cooksey Crank in TX (cookseycrank.com). He's a Mechanical Engineer with 25 years' experience who specializes in rebuilding and truing KTM cranks. He's the best in the business, ask anyone at KTMTALK.com or ThumperTalk.com. While I had the bike apart I replaced both front/rear wheel bearings, front brake pads and rotor, new OEM cylinder, Vertex Piston and V-Force Reeds.
All of the engine work was done as preventive maintenance. I put a new top-end in it every year but I decided it was time to do the cylinder and send the bottom end to Andrew to have him check the crank, bearings and rod. He replaced the rod and put new gaskets in the case everything else was fine.
I have the suspension set up for 140-155lb rider. The bike comes with an extra new rear tire and extra set of front/rear fenders. I've put well over $1200 into this bike over the last 2 years and have receipts for all of the engine, suspension and parts replaced. I have the Certificate of Origin.
Parts I've added or replaced in the last 2 years:
- Aluminum Throttle Tube
- X-Ring Chain
- KTM Orange Oil Plug
- Front/Rear Wheel Bearing and spacers
- Tusk Billet Race Foot Pegs
- KTM Frame Protectors
- KTM Orange Aluminum Sprocket
- Front Brake Pads
- Front Brake Rotor
- Bridgestone M403 Front and M404 Rear each have about 90% tread
- New OEM Cylinder
- Vertex Piston
- V-Force 3 Reed Valves
- Forks Rebuild and Serviced by Kevin at RG3 Montana www.rg3montana.com
- Extras include new rear tire and front/rear fenders
Serous inquires only please, $2600 Firm.
