Ok... I spent about 30 minutes researching some different fantasy supercross and motocross options. There are about 5 different options, and they all seem to use the same points and team idea. Motoxdream has been online since 1998. Looked the most professional and up to date. It is not free. To register to play, it will cost $10 (more if you want to compete for national prizes). The team concept is pretty cool, except you cannot keep the same riders each week. You will have to think about each track and each rider Every week, your previous weeks riders are unavailable for use, and become available after a week off. Since we already missed the first race, we are out of the national points and prizes contest. We can still play for a MT pot and the winner takes all OR pay a podium, 1st, 2nd, 3rd. We can decide as a group... Setting up a paypal account to hold the money is easy and free, or we can take Jason (mx808) up on his offer to hold the money. I vote for the podium option - $15 entry fee. That's a total of $25 to play. 1st gets 55%, 2nd gets 30%, and 3rd gets 15%. To play: 1 - www.Motoxdream.com2 - Register a team and become a team manager (pay $10) 3 - Click Manage Teams 4 - Click 2011 Motosport.com Fantasy SX Series 5 - Join/Create a Friend Division, in the alpha list, click on Montana MX Division 4 - Pick your team for the week! Hope this is fun - I'm registered already. Great Falls BoYz is my team.

So Keith, this would be a season bet thing and not a each weekend thing?

Unfortunately, if we use the website, it would be a season long event. Because we are not allowed to use the same rides in two consecutive weeks...

Hmm, only thing i can think of doing is this: Have everyone pic their riders and post the here on this site. Everyone would pick top 3 riders in the main in both the Premier class and the lites and then the hole-shot in each main... then the fastest lap time in each main. Each pick would count for 1 to 3 points and the hole shots 2.5 for 45o's and 2 points for the lites for a total of 18.5 points. So it would look something like this.
1. Poto..................................................................3 point 2. Stewart............................................................2 Point 3. Dungey.............................................................1 point Hole-shot Premier class. Dungey.........................2.5 point Fastest lap time. Stewart....................................1 point
1. Josh Hansen....................................................3 Point 2. Broc Tickle........................................................2 Point 3. Tyla Rattray.....................................................1 point Hole-shot Lites class. Broc. 2 point Fastest lap time Josh H.......................................1 point
That would should be enough variables so we don't get a couple of people winning the pot and picking the exact same stuff. The reason the premier class hole shot is worth 2.5 points is because a lot of the time it will work out that three or four people will tie, so making the hole shot in the premier class worth 2.5 points should keep that down a little. Then all we need to do is have people sign onto paypal.com and type in Jason's or mine email address and pay $5.00 bucks using their debit or credit card. I think that would work. Winner would announced Monday. I talked to a couple people, (who never sign onto this site), about this and they said they would really like to do something like this. What you all think?

We should come to an agreement today of which way to do it so we can get it going. I don't wanna pay too much on motoxdream and then not use it.

Yeah, lets keep it simple. $5.00 and you are in. There may be some weeks that some of us can't play. I wouldn't want to be trapped in some sort of site and have to pay regardless.
Gman, do you have a paypal account? I just checked and mine is expired. I haven't used it in a couple years. But I could do another if needed.
We need to have your predictions in before practice starts on Saturday's, so no one can judge there predictions off of lap times.
Say 9:00am Saturday Mornings?
Anything else we are missing???

Ok, so I have a pay pal account set up. I just don't know what I need to post so people can start paying to the account. Anyone out there that can help this pay pal challenged person would be great!

And as far as PayPal goes I think you login to your account and then click "send money" and enter an email and the amount...

And then when someone wins, you would do basically the same thing and send it to their email address so they could then "collect" their wins. I could be wrong, but thats what it appears to be.
