Don't forget to send to HCMA your sanction form and suggested rule changes for the 2011 race season. Chris

I got one. Let up and coming Vet. Int. riders have a full lap head start when they advance into the pro's. Seems fair

That's Mr. G-man to you punk. Sandbagger me? Are you kidding? I went to almost all the races and only got a few moto wins (on my home track). I wish I had that kind of speed to be called a sandbagger. Oh well...I can't wait for Supercross to start! Andrew Short on a KTM...too wierd.

We havent heard anything about suggested rule changes for 2011. Let hear and discuss some of the changes now. My biggest vote would be to change the date of the meeting! Jan 2?

I am down with moving the date as well, I think they have it at the first of the year so they can let the AMA have their annual meeting, and if they made any changes the HCMA can follow suit. I find that a little odd as the HCMA seems to dance to it's own beat, as it has few similarities with the AMA. I think we should have it the same day as the awards banquet, that way we will be sure to have a better turn out.

I would like to see us return to the 2 day race format. Also I would like to see our advancement system overhauled I think we are advancing our riders way too fast,no wonder we have over half our int. riders who are on the brink of advancing into the pros quiting or they sign up in the int. class and ride for no points no score, the way I see it the HCMA's advancement system has created a situation that people are having a hard time with.

i totally agree with you about the meeting being held the same weekend as the banquet. The majority of the people at the banquet are the people who have been involved with the series from start to finish. They have valuable information and opinions. I do have to disagree with going back to the 2 day format. From what I have heard from many clubs is that it is not cost effecient. 2 days of expenses such as flaggers, concessions and most exspensive of all ambulance, for 1 day worth of gate money. Clubs still have to make some money if you want to have a well rounded series with different tracks ect...

Kevin, I agree the advancement needs some improvement... yet again.
